Dear beloved, joyous gathering, sisters!

As our Mother Earth always says, »Watch and pray, for you know neither the day nor the hour when the end of patriarchy will come«. And this is exactly why we’ve congregated here today. Our prayers have been heard, our urges have been noticed, and our actions have borne fruit. We’ve gathered here today to say goodbye to something that’s been shaping our existence for millenia. Something that’s been intoxicating us through dominance and power. Something that’s been oppressing and controlling our bodies, minds and lives. Something which we’ve been resisting and showing our resilience to for thousands of years. Something that has been abusing, ruining, destroying, bombing, killing, murdering everything that the woman­hood has created, brought, sustained, managed, maintained, mended and supported for thousands of years—life on this damned and damaged planet. Something whose incinerated ashes ought to be scattered all over a wildflower meadow in spring and serve as a fertiliser for a rebirth of our common giving, ever-­forgiving, ever-loving mother—Earth.
