studierte in Paderborn, Münster und Bielefeld Germanistik, Pädagogik und Musikwissenschaft. Von 1995 bis 1997 absolvierte sie ein Zeitungsvolontariat bei der Panorama Verlags- und Werbegesellschaft, einer Tochter der Unternehmensgruppe Westfalen-Blatt. Nach einem Abstecher in den Fachzeitschriften-Markt wechselte sie im Jahr 2000 als Kulturredakteurin in die Stadtredaktion Bielefeld des Westfalen-Blatts, wo sie bis heute tätig ist. Die Schwerpunkte ihrer Berichterstattung liegen im Bereich Konzert, Musik- und Tanztheater.
