Awo Mana Asiedu
Dr.
is a senior lecturer in the Department of Theatre Arts and immediate past Director of the School of Performing Arts at the University of Ghana. She has published articles on the plays of Ama Ata Aidoo, Tess Onwueme, Efo Kodjo Mawugbe, Mohammed Ben Abdallah, Kobina Sekyie and Tracie Chimo Utoh-Ezeajugh, West African theatre audiences as well as women and popular culture. She is currently on sabbatical leave working on a book on contemporary Ghanaian Theatre. She is an elected member of the Executive Committee of IFTR (International Federation for Theatre Research), a contributing editor for TRI (Theatre Research International) and an associate editor for African Theatre.
