Daniel Mullis
is PhD student in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He is doing research on the production of political moments, as framed by Laclau, Rancière and Zizek, and the production of space, as articulated by Lefebvre. In his case studies, Blockupy Frankfurt from 2012 to 2015 and anti-austerity protests in Athens from 2008 to 2014, he traces highly dense political moments, how they enter into everyday political realities, and how space matters in the context of these hegemonic struggles.
