Über viele Jahre sammelte sie Erfahrung im PR-und Kulturmarketing in zahlreichen Bildungsprojekten. Bis 2017 war sie über viele Jahre die künstlerische Leiterin des Internationalen Festivals TEATROMANIA und Leiterin der Kulturprojekte im Kulturzentrum Bytom. Sie war Autorin und Koordinatorin des Projekts HartOFFanie Teatrem, einer Reihe von Theateraufführungen aus der freien Szene in den Jahren 2003 bis 2016. Ebenso Autorin und Kuratorin des Art/Knowing/Action-Projekts. Seit 2017 ist sie Verantwortliche für internationale Kooperationen und Impresaria am Teatr Śląski in Katowice. Außerdem ist sie Teil der künstlerischen Leitung Theaterfestivals KONTRAPUNKT in Szczecin und Koordinatorin des Polnischen Tanznetzwerks.

Dagmara Gumkowska is a programmer, promoter, impresario, arts and cultural event manager and fundraiser, experienced and involved in PR and marketing activities and in numerous educational projects. For many years (until March 2017) she served as the TEATROMANIA International Festival Artistic Director and the Chief Specialist in cultural project organization at the Bytom Centre of Culture (Bytomskie Centrum Kultury). She was the author and coordinator of the HartOFFanie Teatrem (Strengthening by Theatre) project – a series of presentations of performances by independent theatre companies organized in the years 2003–2016. In addition, she was the Author and Curator of the Art/Knowing/Action project. Since June 2017 she has been the Manager for International Cooperation & Impresario at Teatr Śląski in Katowice (Silesia Theatre). She is also a member of the Artistic Board of the KONTRAPUNKT Theatre Festival in Szczecin (Poland) and the Coordinator of the Polish Dance Network.
