Nach einer Ausbildung zur Tanz- und Bewegungspädagogin studierte sie Theater-, Film- und Fernsehwissenschaft und Germanistik an der Universität zu Köln. Sie arbeitete als Autorin, redaktionelle Mitarbeiterin und Regieassistentin u. a. für den Westdeutschen Rundfunk und die Deutsche Welle und war freie Mitarbeiterin bei ballett international/tanz aktuell, tanzdrama und im Deutschen Tanzarchiv Köln. Sie ist Gründungsmitglied von tanz performance köln und unterrichtete u. a. zeitgenössische Tanzgeschichte an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln.
