Im Jahr 2017 eröffnete Pikene på Broen das Terminal B, einen Ausstellungsort für zeitgenössische Kunst in Kirkenes. Blix Kvammen arbeitete in den vergangenen Jahren für Pikene på Broen als Kuratorin und Beraterin sowie in zahlreichen regionalen und überregionalen Künstlerorganisationen und nationalen Kunst- und Kulturinstitutionen. Sie ist Mitglied der Sami Künstler-Union, der Norwegischen Vereinigung für Kunst und Handwerk und der Vereinigung Norwegischer Bildender Künstler.

Inger Blix Kvammen lives and works as an artist and curator in the town of Kirkenes, close to the Russian and Finnish border. In 1996, she was one of the founders of the collective of producers and curators Pikene på Broen (PB) (Girls on the Bridge), which is responsible for the annual art festival Barents Spektakel, and the Artist-in-Residence programme BAR International. In 2017, PB established Terminal B; a space for contemporary art in Kirkenes. Over the years Inger Blix Kvammen has worked for PB as a Co-curator and Senior Advisor. She has also held a number of central and regional positions in artists’ organizations and in arts and culture institutions nationally. Inger Blix Kvammen is a member of the Sami Artists’ Union, the Norwegian Association for Arts and Crafts and the Association of Norwegian Visual Artists.
