Alastair Upton became Chief Executive of the Creative Foundation in 2012. The Foundation is an arts charity bringing together its five projects as part of creative regeneration: Folkestone Book Festival, Folkestone Artworks (a collection developed from prior Triennials), Quarterhouse, (theatre, dance, music and comedy space), the Creative Quarter, a collection of buildings used for creatives, and Folkestone Triennial.
