wurde 1989 in Wolgast geboren und studierte an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin Soziologie, Politikwissenschaften und Geschichte. Er hat dort über Literatursoziologie, Politische Theorie und Rechtspopulismus gelehrt. Zurzeit ist er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Berliner Institut für empirische Migrations- und Integrationsforschung und forscht zu Gruppenradikalisierungsprozessen, besonders zur Neuen Rechten. Seit April 2018 arbeitet er außerdem als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Lehrbereich für Politische Soziologie und Sozialpolitik der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. In seiner Promotion beschäftigt er sich mit pluralistischen und antipluralistischen Brückennarrativen. Er schreibt seit 2015 über die Freie Theaterszene.

David Meiering was born in Wolgast in 1989 and studied Sociology, Political Science and History at Humboldt University in Berlin. He taught on subjects of the sociology of literature, political theory and right-wing populism there. He currently works as a Scientific Assistant at the Berlin Institute for Empirical Migration and Integration Research and researches group radicalization processes, especially in connection with the New Right. Since April 2018 he has also been working as a Scientific Assistant in the Department for Political Sociology and Social Politics at the Humboldt University in Berlin. In his doctorate, he concerns himself with pluralistic and antipluralistic narratives which generate identity across groups. He has been writing about free theatre culture since 2015.
