Economics and dance—why did you want to study these two particular subjects?

I started both subjects the same week and for the same reason. I was motivated by the question of whether there are other forms of production than transforming natural resources into commodities. Economics seemed to be a subject that would give me the theoretical tools to deal with such a question. Dance, on the other hand, I viewed as a kind of solution or answer to this question, since it follows a different production mode per se: it composes and decomposes at the same time, yet it is there and makes an impact.

Is there an anti-capitalist impulse behind it?

We live in a distribution system that can be called the “market”. It is subject to a mode of production that has been the driving force behind the process of civilization, namely the transformation of natural resources.
